In the [Jews and the WTC](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=148350) thread, I see that I’ve upset some people, and that certainly wasn’t my intent. I never thought for a moment that **Max** was suggesting that the Jews were responsible for the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, or that the Jews were forewarned of the attacks. He asked a question, to which I provided the best answer that I could (my first reply in the thread). After that, I suppose my warped sense of humor took over, and I pardoized the standard answers that those that would blame the Jews would use. I in no way meant to insinuate that **Max** was trolling or in any other way doing anything wrong. I have personally apologized to him and would like to extend that apology to anyone else who was offended by my remarks. I will, in the future, try to “watch my mouth” (or my fingers, as the case may be) before posting. Zev Steinhardt ---
