Monroe’s a great place for limburger and liederkranz cheese, to be sure. I love my visits there. It sure clears out my sinuses to breathe the air there! And a grilled limburger and onion sandwich does something for the taste buds that’s tough to describe!! ---

Fun song, but it’s weird how the majority of cheeses shown there have holes, yet it’s generally only the swiss and gouda-type cheeses that do so in real life. However, I understand that most folks don’t notice cheese inaccuracies the way I do. ---

monroe WI is also home to the biggest mail-order cheese company … the Swiss Colony although they’re way more than cheese nowadays ---
