Another thing I just remembered… my sister said she still has the ID bracelet that I wore in the hospital. Which I now vaguely remember seeing later in childhood.
Clearly, they were thorough in setting up my identity.

Wanna move it?
Nah, that would be when your birth was registered (by your parents) in the province of Ontario.
Touche.
You win this round, sir.
I’m serious. I’m moving next week, and I need all the help I can get.
Undercover CIA operative? C’mon now, be serious. Who’s going to believe a story like that? That is the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard all [del]day[/del] week.
It’s quite obvious to me; sunspace is an ALIEN!
Hey, sunspace, how do you feel when you’re around Kryptonite? No reason, just askin’.
And if you do, is it mine?
Zzzzt… ur transm…zzzt… ion is break … zzzt … up.
…
Phew.
That could’ve come in very handy when you turned 18 (or 15 depending on your age and where you lived).
Huh. Now I wonder what they did for same gendered twins that left the hospital without being named - baby boy 1 and baby boy 2?
I don’t know about the paperwork, but the actually babies were labelled that way.
When my friends the Smiths had twins, the blue plastic strips on the wrists of the babies were labelled “Smith I” and Smith II"
No, it means they made a mistake in wiping out your identity. (“Dammit, Jones, I told you to check the “sister’s” jewelry box!” My office! NOW!").
