I, for one, am shocked that the supposedly private criticism of Netanyahu boils down to “he’s a liar” and “I’ve gotta work with him more than you”. Really? The guy is plainly a full on obnoxious warmongering lying piece of poo. In private I would expect them to be a little plainer about what an impediment he is to anything positive except his own political career. I would like them to criticize the bastard more harshly in public. ---

In this case, Sarkozy is making his personal dislike of Netanyahu clear to Obama. As already pointed out by Simplicio, that seems to be quite a common theme. But the original context of the convo was about foreign policy, NOT about Netanyahu being an asshole. Did you miss the part where I said there was no antisemitism there?! ---
