9k for pair of GYM SHOES? That is profoundly stupid. Still, I kind of get it on some level, I mean never before, or since has there been a player like MJ. Created a dynasty that lead to 6 championships and is arguably the most recognizable face in all of sports, I mean if they were shoes he’d actually WORN, they might be worth 1/2 that.
