# Applauding By Smacking The Back Of The Right Hand Against The Palm Of The Left

Yes, there is a thread about this issue… perhaps Piped instances are less blocked?

Anyway, the Persian snap (1) uses fingers on both hands and (2) is supposed to be (if you do it right) louder than a one-handed snap (3) is more proof the custom of snapping is not limited to Europe and/or America (I do not know specifically about Iranian _universities_ though!)
