Was there anyone particularly intelligent? Gurathin and Mensah were probably the closest. MB maybe.

I feel like the corporation people didn’t seem stupid. Not evidence of intelligence, and there wasn’t enough time with them to tell, but “we won’t insure you unless you have security” seems pretty reasonable.

In the books, yes, most of the characters, both the “good guys” and the “bad guys” are moderately to very intelligent.

I’m coming in late, but wanted to add a comment because it was so good! It probably helped that my expectations were low. I think this is one of the few times I liked the show better than the book.
