All fruits contain fructose, which is a sugar. Apples are no exception.

Apples, like most fruits, contain the sugar called fructose.

If you’re asking whether they contain sucrose, or table sugar, the answer is no, or at least not in any more than tiny amounts.

According to USDA nutritional analysis, a 125-gram raw apple contains 13 grams of sugar. Virtually all of the apple’s 65 calories comes from sugar.
