And I am not unhappy with my BRAND NEW FIT that just came in on Tuesday. In a delightful blue raspberry color which I am loving. It had THREE miles on it - no one had driven it except on and off the lot. No test drives.

Thanks for all of your help. I ended up not taking a loan at all since my dad gave me some money to help pay for it, and I own the car free and clear - no car payment at all.

Congrats. Now all you have to worry about are taxes, insurance, tags, inspections, and that first painful scratch or dent!

Some of it was easy. It came pre-inspected,of course, and I transferred the plates. I increased my insurance - I only had the basic package on the old one. I have coverage for those pesky scratches and dents now.

But I had to worry about all that in the old one and it needed a brake job. I’m just glad it lasted!

Anaamika, just wanted to say congrats on your new Fit. I’ve had mine for a little over 4 years and it’s been a dream. No work done except regular maintenance, hauls a shocking amount of stuff, great gas mileage, fun to drive. Cute, too. My one eensy complaint is that the paint’s thin and it scratches pretty easily, but it sounds like you’ve got that covered. Enjoy!
