Also, in January, a 12 year old shot his 16 year old brother in Dorval, Quebec. The same month, in Ottawa, there was a murder/suicide, where a woman killed her two children (ages 10 and 6) and then herself. You also had a 15 year old, who you might not consider a child for purposes of this, shot and killed in January in a stairwell in a Toronto apartment building. January was a bad month for the murder of children in Canada. ---
