On yesrterday’s episode, the Final Jeopardy question had something to do with John Wilkes Booth and a performance he and his brother had acted in. Since one of my life’s goals is to appear on _Jeopardy!_ and make a fool of myself, I thought it would be funny if, had I been up there, I’d written, “Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?” That’s 47 characters, plus spaces. Is that too much to try to squeeze in there? BONUS QUESTION: Have there ever been any really long Final Jeopardy answers? ---

Higher tech than when I was on 25 years ago. But you’re writing the question by hand (and they tell you the start of it, like “Who was?” ahead of time ) so I doubt that anything so long would show up or be completed in the time you have. ---

I like it when contestants crack wise on the show. Like the woman who asked “Who is Turd Ferguson” in Final Jeopardy a while back. I’m waiting for someone to wager $420. Although to be fair, I find Mattea Roach’s shtick a bit off-putting. ---
