Well, there goes another forum. This time it’s because The Escapist, a website about video games, has just doubled down on whoring itself out to any company that has an advertisement to sell. It’s apparently not good enough to have advertisements as captchas required to post on the forums and to have advertisements for some data collection company on the sidebar, now they’ve started blocking their video content and replacing everyone’s avatars with some shitty singer to try to annoy people into running every single bloated piece of crap anyone will pay them to put on their website. After all, why bother cleaning up your act to the point where people are willing to trust you again, when you can just deliberately piss people off and then associate that hatred with your advertising client’s company? ---

Can’t have it at my place; hubby is on a VA pension and has to take random piss tests because of the pain meds he takes. If the Armenians are claiming genocide, what about the Greeks who were ethnically cleansed from all of Anatolia after having lived there for millennia? ---

Well, I agree, but like we both agree- it’s not as cut-and-dried as the Holocaust. The Turks have apologized, iirc, they said wrong things were done, they just dont want the Genocide" label. They point out the rather suspicious motives of the people who need to dredge up stuff 100 years old. And, if we keep moving the goalposts it’s not too long before how we treated the Indians and how the British treated the Boers to be genocide. The Australians and the Aboriginal people. What is with these idiot programmers today? One of the supposedly better ones on my team for the current project just sent me an email to say that the front end GUI piece he is working on will allow data to be affiliated in an invalid way, shown like that for review and submitted like that so the data base will have to clean up the transaction when it receives it. Not even asking me if it was OK, just an FYI of how he decided to do it. Ummm, hell fucking no. ---

The universe needs to declare a total blackout on anything with the name Duggar in it. No, I don’t give a shit that the stupid fucking Duggars are breeding like brainless bunnies yet AGAIN. I don’t give a shit that yet another of their barely educated, religious fanatic, dimwitted, brainwashed, sexist, twenty year old twits is about to whelp for the fifth time in six years. You don’t fucking need to tell me that J-Pretty-White-Woman Duggar thinks she’s about to have twins. I don’t need to know J-Duggar Number 3433 had baby number 2343 by c-section and named it J. Brat Jr. I don’t care that she thinks that abortion is just like the holocaust or that womens should stay home and breed for da menfolk and that they buy their tater tot casserole at Wal Mart. Unless Jinger is about to admit she’s a lesbian commie who is going to run away with her partner to San Francisco and open up a shop devoted to teaching tantric sex techniques and selling marijuana I don’t fucking care. Enough already. They’re everywhere. In my Facebook feed, in my parenting discussion support pages, on television commercials – ENOUGH ALREADY! They’re not news. They’re a group of morons with a cult that is basically the damned Taliban without the burkha. It’s like this idiot country of ours decided that since we don’t have a fucking royal family we need to substitute them instead. I swear to god I’m doing something I didn’t think I’d ever do: respecting the fucking Kardashians. I am amazed anyone has managed to go Duggar Free in this universe. The [Duggars](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/19_Kids_and_Counting) are morons from Arkansas who are famous for having a lot of kids. They are adherents of a form of deeply idiotic Christian patriarchy extremism known as the [quiverfull](http://www.slate.com/blogs/xx_factor/2014/09/22/vyckie_garrison_on_escaping_quiverfull.html) movement. This idiotic nonsense is all about women being breeding and submissive to the menfolk. The idea is to have as many kids as you can because god said so. So Google Chrome has changed its bookmarking interface, and apparently the new one takes longer to respond, so I thought it just wasn’t working at first. And it takes more steps to _remove_ a bookmark. This, like so many software updates I never asked for, is just _dumb._ ---
