Here we are again - the one day a year when people are skeptical of things they read online. > **[Epic | ...with the patient at the heart](https://www.epic.com/)** > > Founded in a basement in 1979, Epic develops software to help people get well, help people stay well, and help future generations be healthier. “In an age where telehealth visits have become increasingly popular, with patients appreciating the convenience and safety of visiting virtually with providers from the comfort of their own home, receiving healthcare through a videogame is a logical next step.” ---

Today’s \*The Price Is Right \* had lots of "accidents " and oddities. They didn’t mention the date until the very end. Since they record far in advance, the models and crew probably had no idea as to what was going on. ---

OK, my favorites from this year are Emireats-delivering your favorite food from anywhere in the world and Aldi’s new online dating service Findr-swipe right on products you like and it will match you to people who like the same foods. ---

Well the rehab kitchen had an explosion. For a half a second I thought joke. Then I said “no, this couldn’t be a joke” And I was right. A pressure cooker blew up down there. It’s amazing no one was injured. ---

I actually got tricked by one because I saw after midnight but before sunrise, and thus didn’t realize the date. Stack Overflow [added comical filters to its site](https://stackoverflow.blog/2022/03/31/time-to-get-on-trend-filters/?cb=1), allowing you to make the site look like Facebook, Windows 3.1, a bad 3D stereograph image (think red and blue), Lisa Frank, and so on. I was about to block the button to make it go away before I noticed that the title of the image was April fools. After I slept, I found the following on YouTube: - Overly Sarcastic Productions put out a [video promising a short summary of the _Silmarillion_](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzjeJ1S3EcM). It oddly actually expands the “lore” of the channel. - The LockPicking Lawyer put out his annual [deadpan innuendo-filled April Fools video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhuNRWskgNQ). They work because he’s otherwise always so serious. - Linkara wrote [an entire set of analog horror videos](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxCy3y2-ZD2Em9C-8pG3IDvpliemt_FmU). Those are those videos that pretend to be found footage of real life creepy occurrences. - Dominic Noble did a [_Lost In Adaptation_ episode on Tommy Wisseau’s _The Room_](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqW2GUhTaFo), and did not break character throughout. - Beau of the Fifth Column put out a [video on Trump’s Truth network](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6Axsi1O5cU), presenting it as actually functional. It actually tricked a lot of people at first, who didn’t notice the upside down hat logo which Beau always puts on his fun/sarcastic videos. ---

The local food delivery app announced the following: > We are pleased to announce that as of today, pineapple on pizza will be removed from all Uber Eats menus. > **[Switzerland adopts 4 day week](https://www.worldradio.ch/news/bitesize-news/switzerland-adopts-4-day-week/)** > > \*\*\*\*\*\* APRIL FOOLS \*\*\*\*\*\* > Looks like we didn't fool many of you. > [@BigT](#): > > The LockPicking Lawyer put out his annual [deadpan innuendo-filled April Fools video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhuNRWskgNQ). That one is great, you can tell he’s been working on puns and double entendres all year. ---

I’ll admit I was confused Friday night when [Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel traded shows for the evening.](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/jimmy-kimmel-jimmy-fallon-april-fools-day-1235123837/)
