I showed up at church an hour and a half early this morning. I didn’t actually go in - I just twigged as I arrived. But that leaves me with the niggling feeling that the Childrens’ Leaders’ meeting I was advised of might actually have been TRUE, and I just missed it because of my assumption.

Either way it’s a pretty dumb time to have an out-of-the-blue early morning meeting. April Fool’s Day. I stand by my professional decision to go back to bed.

April Fool’s Day jokes are only funny when they happen to other people. _ **NOT** _ to me. I cannot begin to stress the solemnity with which this is to be understood.
