What the hell next door neighbor? I understand you want to trim the tree that is leaning on your property from my backyard. That’s great. You’re a nice guy. I’m glad you and your family live next door as you are one of the few neigbors I have who aren’t assholes. But ask me first. Do NOT show up on my property without permission, grab my shaky above ground pool ladder and start sawing away. I nearly fainted when I saw you from my kitchen window. ---

Speaking of foot problems, I went to see my podiatrist today and told him that the shots\* he had given me (in the top of the foot, wiggling between bones), did nothing to help. So he gave me _six_ shots. :eek::eek::eek: We have this silly ritual that seems to help. When he’s going to do something that will hurt, I hold my book up so I can’t see what he’s doing and tell him that I’m ignoring him. He plays along. I knew it was going to be bad today when he asked the nurse to give me my book and said he was going to leave the room for 10 minutes. Now my toes are numb, my balance is off and it feels like I’m walking marbles. I so hope this is going to work, more surgery is out of the question for a very long time and I’m going to be dancing in a big poofy gown in a couple of months. \*2 shots, the first one is to numb things, the second one is to deliver whatever he’s using to the nerve. The numbing shot does _NOTHING_ for bones. ---

_Throws my arm around **AU** ’s shoulders and gives him a friendly squeeze._ Look everyone, we have raised this Doper up right. He came here closed minded and now he thinks and reverses his opinions when he realizes that he was wrong. The poor guy went into withdrawal because the servers crashed and he couldn’t read GD. I’m kinda glad that **AU** wasn’t here when _someone_ **glances at Marley** banned everyone. He might have never come back and I think that **AU** is a good member of our community. ---

One more week and this double-booked school session from hell will be over. I had to double up on my classes to have enough credit hours to keep financial aid happy. My advisor told me the classes were easy. Damn lady, if these are what you consider easy, then your idea of a hard class must be a special kind of hell. I ordered some refill packs of paper for my [neat little notebook](http://wellspringgift.shptron.com/c/flip-notes) a friend gave me for my birthday last year. I never got the packs. According to the tracking number, it was delivered three days ago. No it wasn’t, I’ve been checking the mail and it wasn’t there. I go to the link for the support page and Avast gives me a chime and tells me it’s a malicious site that I can’t visit. I can’t get to the support page to find out what to do in just such an occasion. Goddammit, that’s $11 down the drain. I think I can get these at the Hallmark store. I hope so. I really like that little notebook. ---

Damn loose cats are already in our garden. This is the first time I caught them but I know they were in there before because of poop. Anyone know how to keep them out? This is our veggie garden. Flowers I’m a little less annoyed by. I’d rather not have cat poop in my vegetables. Also, the weeds are already taking over, but its too early to plant half the garden because its Canadaland and I expect we will get snow sometime this month. So I get to go prep and weed the garden but I can’t plant without fear of frost for weeks yet. I also have to find time between everyday stuff to do about 100 questions of varying lengths, some of which take half an hour to do a single problem. I’ll be glad when class is over at the end of the month. ---

I planted a row on the edge of my garden bed, then when the blooms went to seed I scattered the seedpods all around. Bonus: got new plants. This didn’t totally get rid of the cat poop, but it reduced it by probably 90%. Another thing I did was spread around some branches I cut off the rose bush, which had thorns. Apparently cats don’t enjoy squatting on thorns. This also helped.
