I didn’t know new episodes started tonight and only caught part of it. Why did Carl get a sex change and what was with all the dicks?

Carl got a sex change because he “won” a free ripping off of his dick. So Frylock gave him a sex change, to avoid this.
That was the part of the episode that made sense. It kind of lost clarity after that.

I hope that wasn’t a sign how the whole new season is going to go because it was about the least funny thing I had ever seen. I don’t know if they were going for shocking or funny but the only shocking was how painfully unfunny the episode was.

Really, ATHF hasn’t been consistently funny since the first season. It’s too hit-or-miss, and sometimes they go for bizarre so they don’t have to write actual jokes.

That must be it. The script that felt like it was written by a twelve year old must have been far too avante garde for me…
