Yeah, it seems they’ve kinda decided that a lot of uncomfortable and gross sexual situations and bad word jokes are the way to immortality. Fail. Of course, there are a lot of new eps, so we’ll see if they can score with something in the future.
As far as where Adult Swim is now:
Metacolypse is pretty darn decent, and Frisky Dingo at least passes the time but I have to see where its going before I give it a fail. Harvey Birdman is generally still okay. The Ass show coming soon looks terrible. I’ve never really made Squidbillies a habit, but it’s okay I guess, just not very exciting.
I await Korgoth and the return of the Venture Brothers for something TRULY good. So far they’ve been pitching lowballs lately.

Metalocalypse is high on my AS radar; it doesn’t help that I know lots of metal guys that act just like that (I already have my husband’s former bandmates typecast in my mind).
I really, really hope ATHF comes out of the toilet though; I only just got hooked on it this year and it’s really disappointing to see it slide downward so badly (starting with the Boost Mobile ep - what utter shit).

Yeah, there’s a big difference in the quality of this new episode and the earlier one that followed.
Adult Swim has really taken an odd turn since they got Futurama and Family Guy. I really hope that the swords and sorcery show they did earlier this year gets rethought like The Venture Brothers was.

This season, one episode concentrated on repitition of the word “dick,” and another episode centered around the explicit prospect of Carl being raped by a dog.
Nothing from seasons one or two, at least, comes to my mind as being crude in this way. Maybe you can jog my memory, though. (And I didn’t watch seasons three or four very closely so maybe I missed something there as well.)
