The Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor. I think the terra cotta soldiers are awesome, and I’d like to see what else is there, if they can ever figure out how to do it safely.

I had this confirmed by one of the leaders of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, who just happened to be a tourist in SF. However, all the main churches have a replica of the Ark and all have a replica of the Tablets. That one just happens to date from the earliest days of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, and possibly before.

Well, there’s not much “excavation” needed as the stone is at face height on a corner of the Ka’aba.
I suppose knowing exactly what kind of rock it is would be interesting, but… it’s just a rock. Set in a rock wall.

I’d love to see the Noah’s Ark on Mt Ararat story concluded one way or another. I’m sick of blurry satellite images. Time for some feet on the ground!

A large part of the Black Sea bed.
The water is anoxic, which means things are remarkably well preserved. There is evidence of human settlement from 5600BC
