I didn’t like this episode at all, for the same reasons I didn’t like the previos one: something was just missing, though still not sure what that something is (chemistry of character interaction?). But, _STILL_ looking forward to the next one! ---

I thought this one was stronger than the first episode but the season openers are always a little shaky in my opinion. ---

Season 2 in particular seemed slightly meh for the first couple of episodes despite the individual awesome lines. But at some point it just kicked into high gear. So far season 3 is following a similar pattern for me - but since the awesome one-liners keep coming it is still a highly entertaining meh, to the point of not really being meh ;). ---

Also (regarding the season opener), since my wife had never heard of Bob’s Burgers, that whole schtick was lost on her. Since I had heard of it but only ever watched a couple episodes, the whole thing felt like an increasingly tedious tie-in commercial whenever they’d bring it up. [Edit: I’m sure this came up in last week’s thread but I missed that one since I was avoiding the one-liner spoilers.] ---

Nitpick… Season 4 :). But yes, the scene at the end is great. I would have loved to seen a scene with Kreger actually having ant strength though (like lifting the tree off the other agent or something) ---

Only after seeing a commercial for Bob’s Burgers during the Archer episode did I realize that Archer was dressed up like Bob; and his family matched the family from the show too. To top it all off, I then didn’t find out until about 3 or 4 days later that the actor who voices Bob is the same actor who voices Archer. ---

I agree this season has had a slow start, but I thought all the previous seasons were strong out of the gate: Mole Hunt, Swiss Miss, and Heart of Archness all still crack me up. ---
