Goodness yes, **Peeta**. We received (I guess it would be rescued nowadays) some more-or-less jungle fowl. Not vicious, quite clean, good moms, and smart, for chickens.

You’re right; it’s the super domesticated chickens that did not shine in comparison to boxes of hair. Wild turkeys are even supposed to be smart enough that successful hunting is a bit of an achievement.
