Chris Rock has a lengthy bit in one of his recent shows in which he explains that the reason why you see a lot of black man/white woman couples but very few of the opposite is not that white men don’t find black women attractive but that black women don’t find white men attractive, generally speaking. Certainly there are exceptions - I’ve known black women of my acquaintance to drool over, say, George Clooney. But measured against the general population, no. So really, the OP ought to be asking “Are white men generally less attractive than black men?” 😉 ---

Clooney pings my one-drop radar (and so does Justin Timberlake and Clive Owen), and I wouldn’t be surprised if other black women said the same thing about him. It could be that’s why they might find him attractive. Alternatively, they could find him attractive and then see him as black-like because of it. Interesting questions. ---

I don’t know if that’s true in reality, but that’s how it’s often perceived by black women. There is also the notion that black men want white women as a trophies, so black women resent the notion that a black men needs to use a white woman to validate himself. Of course it’s absurd, and understandably angers some black women. And the double standard doesn’t help things. I have no idea how prevalent the “white woman trophy” idea is for black men, but I do know for a fact that it does exist in the minds of some/many black men I’ve known personally. ---

There are plenty of women her age, and older, that I would call beautiful. she ain’t one of them. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being uber hot, I give Michelle Obama a 7. Many are saying they can appreciate a woman for being attractive but they wouldn’t want to jump her. I can identify. But Michelle Obama is “pounce-worthy,” i.e., yeah, I’d hit that. ---

It is my little opinion that black women have (on average) better figures than white women. This is a tough question to answer because I often take that into account when I consider the attractiveness of the female in question. Not just the facial qualities, but the overall figure. ---

I think Michelle Obama is beautiful, although I can see why some people disagree. I think most people, even if they don’t find her beautiful, would agree to “attractive” or “striking”. But I have to admit that I’m giggling on the inside at the thought that most of the men who vehemently state her unattractiveness aren’t so much put off by her physical features as by the more-than-occasional look on her face that conveys “Fuck with me, and I will crush you like the worm you are.” ---

Women with colour have an intrinsic allure for me that white women cannot ( am white euro dude myself) whether she is Southern European, Asian, African Far East Asian or Oriental (have you seen some of these Ethiopean girls with dark skin and piercing blue eyes?) White skin for me shows up every blemish, spot, pimple and blue veins that make ivory breasts look like google maps! I have seen some stunning looking Ukrainian or Eastern European ladies and can appreciate their beauty, but on a personal attraction evel… well I choose to live where my user name suggests my attraction lies for a reason. YMMV and am sure I am no great loss to the fairer complexion ladies of the world ---

I find many black women (mostly black/asian mixes- which would answer another of your points) to be unbelievably attractive- specifically vietnamese and african american mixed… But what gets me is the culture of the american black woman. There is a whole lot of (understandable but regrettable) prejudice programmed in against ‘the man’ in america that keeps both she and I from connecting, even when we are really digging one another. I briefly dated an eritrian woman, and she was great, with none of the ingrained prejudice, and beautiful as hell… But it was informal, and I was the one who was let go… ---
