I don’t know if this was addressed to me or not, but I want to make it clear that I was referring to one part of central Asia 1K+ miles east of where IE speakers are commonly found nowadays. Islam penetrated a surprising ways into Sinkiang, bringing Indo-Iranian languages with it. But I was talking about pre-Islamic people’s further east.
