# Are Golden Retrievers smart or not?

We have three goldens and they are all quite intelligent. Beyond the ability to please, they are also able to problem solve. Ours were bred for field work, though, not looks.

**Dinsdale** , you have not lived until you have more than one Golden at a time. You should have three!
