Hell, yes. There’s this woman at work who sits on the other side of my cube. Every time she has a call, I have to get up and find a table away from her. Not only does she have a high voice, her voice also REALLY carries, so if I need to think, speak or pay attention I need to leave.
That’s what I was thinking.
I hate my own voice on recordings. It sounds fine to my ears, but if I hear it on video or answering machine - yeesh.
The majority of Japanese porn is even worse. High-pitched baby talk voices, combined with incredibly squicky pseudo-rape scenarios - it’s awful.
