# Are Jewish/Muslim Hasidim/Sh'iite more tolerant to homosexuals then Christian Fundies

I hadn’t heard anything about Dick Cheney having a gay daughter (though I can’t say that it’s NOT true, either). If it WERE true, it wouldn’t be the only case in which a Bush Presidency included a close adviser with an openly gay child.

George Bush the Elder had Robert Mosbacher in his Cabinet, and Mosbacher’s daughter is a VERY out lesbian activist is Houston. Very few Republicans noticed or cared then, so IF it were true in Cheney’s case, I doubt whether anybody would care.

Are you sure you haven’t simply confused Dick Cheney With Mr. Mosbacher?

I think it’s pretty well-known that one of Cheney’s daughters is gay; but to answer **Kinsy’s** question, why would anyone care? Even those who have a problem with homosexuality can distinguish between the person running for office and a person not running for office. I mean, who blames Chelsea for what her father does?

Well, sure **YOU** can distinguish between the two because you apparently use your brain, but some of those really fundie fundamentalists are incredibly narrow-minded and firm believers in that quote about knowing people by the company they keep (can’t remember the exact quote).
