Was at another gathering yesterday, with 4 teachers. They were all commenting on how far behind kids were at levels from grade school to college. Teachers described students being the equivalent of 2 years behind, incoming college freshmen being the equivalent of HS juniors, behavior problems in elementary school, etc.
Not studies, just the opinions/observations of 3 folk in the field.
