I’m wearing a hoodie and I’m almost as old as this thread.
What looks tougher:
a) Hoodies
b) Pomade pompadours
c) Jughead caps
d) Toothpick in mouth

I live in the pacific northwest. Today it was raining and about 40 degrees out. The standard high school “uniform” is comprised of long basketball shorts and a t-shirt with maybe a zip up hoodie. Oddly enough, even when raining (and I don’t mean drizzle) the high schoolers wear the hoodie and don’t have the hood on. Even though we have lived in the area for 6+ years, my kids and I all point and laugh. YMMV
Today is the second day of summer in Australia, and true to form in my part of the country the weather was cool. Yes, I wore a hoodie. I’m a middle-aged grandma, about as far removed from a gangsta or hooligan as you can get.
I’d guess they’d be more likely to wear hoodies because they were cheap and comfortable, but YMMV…
All four at the same time. Certainly, none of them are mutually incompatible.
Oooh. I’m quivering in trepidation just imagining it.
I briefly considered that possibility but thought that the pompadour would be difficult to ascertain beneath the hoodie and/or cap.
