# Are 'King Crimson' still around?

I guess the title asks it all…except perhaps what Robert Fripp is doing nowadays…is he still kicking (or even alive???)

Well, their latest [CD](http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00004SX3H/ref=pd_bxgy_text_2/102-9841483-0015358) was released as recently as 2000. I haven’t heard it, and the lineup has changed somewhat, but Belew and Fripp (of course) are still in there.

Don’t forget Fripp’s Soundscapes series of albums and the various PROJEkCT spin-off groups of KC. I’ve only heard PROJEkCT TWO so far. _Space Groove_ seems to turn up in lots of used CD stores; to me it sounded like good background music for video games.
