Keep your magazines fully loaded when stored not in use.
New or unused magazines often do not feed properly in the beginning.
Keep the springs compressed down and it helps with double feed/jam issues.

He also served time in jail for drug possession (if I recall correctly) which I think is what killed his channel. Illegal drug users aren’t allowed to possess firearms.

He got arrested for _marijuana_. It was a pretty good quantity of hash I guess, but looks like I can order that delivered to my door legally for about $1000. 9 years and the other side of the country separates us, but damn is that a difference.

> Some aftermarket mags are fine like Mec Gar and Shield. Stay away from Pro Mag which is an acronym for Please Remember Our Magazines Are Garbage. I refuse to sell them.

Mec Gar is the OEM manufacturer for many brands. The only difference between buying the official thing is the stamping.

> Gophers? Why not a .410? a .410 single shot is damn cheap.

You’ll save quickly on a 12 or 20 gauge over a .410 just buying ammo.

12 gauge recoil on bird shot is nothing, slugs are a different matter but those better be some fierce gophers.

I’ve had my eye on the [VRPA40](https://palmettostatearmory.com/rock-island-vrpa40-12ga-5rd-20-pump-shotgun-marine-black-vrpa40.html) mag-fed pump shotgun, but it’s hard to find.
