# Are Microsoft and antivirus vendors liable for LoveBug?

I think our real problem is we keep arguing by analogy, which tends to obscure the issue. Software is such a recent phenomenon that no real precedents have been established, thus we are blazing new trails in the digital frontier. You try to keep me honest about my bias and I will try to do the same for yours. 🆒
