The cloak of invisibility covers me, too, especially if I post something short, witty and to-the-point, and then the next poster spends 14 paragraphs, with quotes and cross-references, changing the whole slant of the thread and introducing a new topic. My skinny little two-line post gets absolutely overlooked by the OP as they head off to challenge or congratulate the more voluminous poster, even though my post was so incredibly insightful that the OP should have declared their problem solved and their life taking a whole new turn. Unfortunately I don’t have time to provide a cite. ---
