Yes, truely **Manny** would, becasue his repuation as most beloved of the mods was very important to him. Saddly, it apears no one wishes to claim that title. No one wishes to be addored by the masses, and would prefer rioting death-ray aficionados ---

Print out the thread. Delete the thread. Ban everyone who posted to it. Kick all the mods in the nuts for letting it go on so long. Burn the printout, then stomp on the ashes. I’m not sure what I’d use to burn the printout, though. ---

It seems that this ole thread has got an 11th hour stay of execution. Since the thread is still open, lets get back down to buissness. Now on to this_Crazy Cock_ buissness. I would really be intrested to know of Hobbes and Calivn did any reasearch into this. More importantly how do the Zotti’s figgure into this? As they have their grubby hands in all things Death-ray. ---

Miller didn’t write in code, so much as he disguised portions of his life by changing names, locations and dates of events. So you have to dig through that to figure out where he was and what (or who) he was doing at the time, and _then_ you can start looking at things like death rays and such. **Monkey\_mule** Since I am not as gifted as you are, what do you mean by bad form? 1. the fact you already replied to the question by VernWinterbottom making my response redundant ? :smack: 2. the fact that I used a prepositional ending? (I was just quoting the original question). 3. the fact I was displaying a rather frivolous attitude to the topic in question? Well in response to #3, I decided to adopt a somewhat cavalier attitude to this _extremely_ vital topic. Why? Well this thread was going to die at posting #1000 right? Since it hasn’t met its announced cyber demise, I believe it was due to the valiant efforts of the last few “dopers” who pretended the topic was inconsequential in order to deceive the moderators into thinking this whole thing was a joke. The moderators _knew_ that we were getting close - yes maybe _too close_ to the truth !! It was risky enough to mention the involvement of the Harding administration. Calvin Coolidge’s part in this is even more sinister but it’s too dangerous to mention those details just yet. Not until we have convinced the moderators just how “unimportant” this topic really is. Yes, what an astoundingly “inane” dicussion this has been. 😃 ---
