Are "shy Trump voters" a real thing?

Is that response directed to me? I’m saying the same thing. What I quoted is saying there’s a strategy to it. I’m saying that there are logical reasons to think that Trump supporters might want to believe that there is secretly more support for Trump than is being reported. I’m not saying that the belief of the Trump supporters is itself logical.

OK, that explains it a lot better. No negative connotations were intended in my post. I would never wish to give offense…unintentionally.

The final RCP aggregate polling before the 2016 election was more closer to the result than the final aggregate before the 2012 election. No one talked about “silent Obama voters” because it’s taken as a given liberals are able to be loud and proud.

Similarly I think there are more “silent Biden voters”. Trump supporters always go on about yardsigns and enthusiasm but no matter how many Trump flags and screensavers you go through, their vote carries as much weight as the guy next door who has no urge to tell everyone he’s voting for Biden.
