# Are social media's recent bannings a freedom of expression issue?

[I’m](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/trolls-r-us-redux/913349/1852) going to guess that many of us had moral [principles](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/in-defence-of-wokeness/922065/27) back then that would be [considered](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/in-defence-of-wokeness/922065) far more “ahead of our time” than [you](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/disingenuous-racist-bigoted-posters-damuriajashi-demontree/928300/4).
