I don’t know if I’m allowed to mention other boards but i found a board out there that basically has members on it that constantly ridicule this forum. It’s kind of pathetic actually. I won’t mention the board until a mod replies to this thread and says it’s okay to talk about it. If this is against the rules please lock this thread. ---

[hijack to answer the actual OP] Okay, okay, I’ll be the nice guy. Yes, **lisalan** , we (at least many of us) did know. There’s at least one downright nasty group that we’re not supposed to mention by name or link to (or did that rule get changed during my hiatus?). There are a couple of others, The Giraffe Boards (which is run by our very own **Giraffe** ) included, which are “splinter” boards - boards started by Dopers, either just for shits-n-giggles or because they were unhappy with the way things were going here. The splinter boards and us, well, we’re cool. Some of us post on more than one, some don’t. There’s a certain amount of snarkiness about the SDMB that goes on at some of them, but, well…there’s a certain amount of snarkiness about the SDMB that goes on HERE, so it’s not really all that remarkable.
