No timeouts for the last three days, but all of a sudden automatic logouts and even when logged in I’m getting that Sutlantheme’s crap. Yes, I have cookies enabled. Does anyone actually like Sultantheme given the mucked up “functionality” it evidences on this site? If not, how’s about deleting it for once and all? ---

Got a bunch of 50x errors opening threads in GQ. The server must have missed me and was welcoming me back in it’s own special way. ---

I just discovered that while I get gateway timeouts All The Time while using firefox, when I switch to safari I don’t get them. Not sure why. ---

I wish I had a dime for every time somebody thought they saw a correlation between board performance and something else. We – us hoo-mans – have a strong inclination to see patterns where none exist. During one of the many times of poor board performance, I once tried opening a number of very long threads and very short ones. There was no consistent difference in performance. I have also seen very poor performance in the small hours of the morning, but I’m willing to believe that there is at least some sensitivity to load and that the system is more likely to be responsive when there are relatively few users online – but again, this has not been absolutely consistent by any means. ---

Board is running today like how my dog shits when she’s sick. Is a board that functions in a basic manner really not possible? I mean, other web sites do it. In fact, all of the other websites do it. ---

The labeling would allow interested readers to check out the entire thread, part by part, while not being punished for trying to participate in them by the dreaded 504s. Yes, we have suggested this, but the Mods dont seem willing to end those and start new. ---
