They started the challenge here (I’m in the metro west Boston area).
The initial idea was to dump ice water on your head or donate…but most people I’ve seen on FB seem to be dumping ice water on their head ***and ***donating.
President Obama was challenged by Ethel Kennedy (who doused herself along with the rest of the Kennedys in Cape Cod), but Obama refused and did the donation.
Tyler Perry, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Nancy O’Dell challenged Oprah Winfrey, who doused herselfand challenged Stephen Spielberg, Manish Dayel and Hellen Mirren (“If dames have ice buckets.”)
I haven’t done it but I have some friends who have done it so maybe it’ll get to me.
I coulda swore there was a story a few weeks ago about someone using a front-end loader to dump cold water and the machine tipped and crushed the guy…but I can’t find a story on it. Did someone post it here?
