These two Pratchett books don’t actually seem to be in print in the US, so I’d have to import them from the UK. Before I go through the effort and expense, I’d like to know whether it’s worth it. The descriptions just sound weird, like a Discworld novella mixed with non-fiction science or something??

Personal opinions, anyone?

Clearly they are at the very least unpopular.

I have the “science of” book and it is based around the wizzards creating a miniature discworld, and having to understand the science that governs it - which is earth science.

I have to be honest and say that I never finished it and I am a big discworld fan.
