# Are there any diseases that are approaching a cure?

In the last few years we have developed vaccinations for Chicken Pox, and for HPV (which causes cervical cancer).

Much to my annoyance! I have to get a varicella vaccine and we’re wasting the whole morning arguing about HPV. What a coincidence.
