The only time my girlfriend does it is in conjunction with, or as a substitute for sex. ie: I’m present, and participating. Beyond that, she says shes’ tried it once or twice, but it does nothing for her. In her defense, she’s got a ton and a half of sexual issues that we’re slowly working our way through. My ex-wife didn’t hardly ever until I bought her a toy. Then, I discovered that when she ws cranky, I would send her upstairs and tell her she should try it. Worked like a charm, calmed her right down. It got to the point where she wouldn’t have sex with me hardly ever, but wore out her batteries often. ---

She doesn’t. Really. Not ever. She’s serious. She’s given it a shot- nothing. No interest. Fantasizing about other people just doesn’t work. Sex toys kind of gross her out, being artificial and all. She has never found any kind of erotic/pornographic pictures that excited me. She DOES occasionally read erotic fiction, and it does get her in the mood sometimes, but any attempt at self-stimulation immediately revokes the “mood.” She is more likely to jump **d\_redguy** :D:p the moment she sees him. My ex-fiancee didn’t, or at any rate very very seldom and with much remorse. She said it made her feel guilty. Fair enough, some people have hang-ups. … Oddly, though, she managed to fuck another guy behind my back and then bed-hop with a succession of married men before she became third wife of one of them. As for guys, each time their heart beats, they make 1000 spermies. In one ejaculation, there are enough sperm to fertilize every woman in america twice (I’m assuming they mean those that can get pregnant)…Or so thats what they said on the Discovery channel, Science of Sex program, if the captions are right. Yep, there was a time I didn’t know how to masturbate, like at ten years old, so I guess that would count… ---

Well, I am a confirmed wanker 😉 . But I made friends with a man on a ‘healing’ holiday who though sexually active found masturbation very difficult. He was married at the age of 17 and had children, but he said he couldn’t get arroused on his own. This made life difficult for him when on buisness trips and away from his wife for a week or more. He wanted to remain faithful to his wife, so didn’t get releif from other partners. Women typically are in a hormonal ebb and flow that sometimes will make moods change. This happens at different times for different women. The time from egg release to mensturation is not a good time for some women. I dare you to touch me when I have PMS. You WILL draw back a nub. And I’ve found that most women masturbate, though some are unaware that some common practices are masturbation. (such as horseback or motorcycle riding, etc) And I masturbated when I was single. It was nice and served it’s purpose (and was in no way connected to my cycle) But now that I have a partner, I’ve realized that sex just isn’t as fun alone. Much MUCH more fun when done with someone. Not all men masturbate. Take me, for example. I masturbated occasionally right after hitting puberty, but it rather quickly lost its novelty. As I mentioned in the celibacy thread, I’m fairly asexual, and simply do not have the drive nor the desire to regularly release my seed. Add to that the fact that my religion strongly discourages masturbation, and you have at least one guy who does not masturbate. ---
