Someone wanted cites? The earliest references to homosexual behaviour in animals that I know of is in John Paul Scott’s Animal Behavior, published in 1958. Scott was a major figure in the field. He’s sufficiently famous that even I’ve heard of him… it looks to me that the “It’s disgusting! Animals don’t act like that!” crowd have been yelling in the face of established scientific evidence for at least forty-four years.
