I note that there are a few of us who dislike it. Beyond taste, my reasoning is entirely rational: it’s a culture for salmonella: a mixture of mayonnaise, cold potatoes, eggs served on a warm summer day. Of course every mother starts their dinner service with “But you’ll LOVE my potato salad!” ---

Seafood. Any variety. If it swims or spent time in the water, I’ll pass. I guess I’ve never tried water buffalo though, it could be an exception Reeses Peanut Butter cups (weird, because I don’t mind normal peanut butter) ---

Water. Everyone says to me, “But water has no taste.” But it does–it reminds me of quinine. And I don’t just mean tap water from a particular city. I hate all water. ---

I do not like mayonnaise, nor miracle whip, and i also cheerfully disdain potato and pasta salads. I hate cheesecake, barbecue sauce, iceberg lettuce, and 2 % milk. ---

i am the least picky eater i know. i do have five things i hate though. 1) the pacific northwestern version of mexican food. 2) carrot and raisin salad 3) red cabbage (only because im allergic to it though) 4) carrot and raisin salad. 5) raisin and carrot salad ---

There are a few foods I don’t like. Most kinds of nuts, Indian curry, oysters- I don’t like these things, but I can understand how others might like them. Except for celery. Celery, to me, is the gastronomic equivalent of someone running their fingernails down a blackboard. Even the _smell_ of it makes me shudder. I’m convinced there’s a gene that is expressed in me that allows me to taste celery, since most people I know claim it doesn’t have much taste. The same for cilantro- but I LIKE cilantro. It’s got a fresh, mildly spicy flavor. I’d put it in anything, pretty much. Several of my friends, though, claim cilantro tastes like soap. ---

Cilantro smells like dirty socks, but it tastes good. Celery has a taste, and I enjoy it, but the stringy things make it very hard to eat 😕 ---

Coffee. I hate it with a passion. I can’t differentiate between coffee and hot water that’s been filtered through a bag of dirt. Anything banana-flavored. Not the actual fruit mind you, I don’t mind real bananas, just anything that has been flavored with bananas (banana bread, banana pudding, banana candy, etc…). I find artificial banana flavoring in particular tastes absolutely nothing like real bananas at all. ---

New York strip, baked potatoe w/ butter and sour cream, nice tossed salad. Uck! BBq baby backed ribs, cole slaw and baked beans. P/U! Fried shrimp & oysters (make a vomit sound!) I can’t think of anything. does that make me bad!? ---

Count me in on the plan to eradicate Peanut butter! I’m also for the removal of peanuts (dry roasted, or otherwise) as party snacks - the smell makes me nauseous. Another thing for me is the humble pea. Why, Oh why, does every meal seem to come with thousands of the slippery little buggers liberally sprayed over the plate? I’ve got quite adept at removing peas from food (including special fried rice, using chopsticks), so I guess it’s been worthwhile… ---

There’re plenty of foods I don’t like (sea urchin, smoked eel…as a matter of fact, anything smoked, grits, iced tea (though I love thai tea), coffee, meatloaf, etc), but none enough to eradicate them. I can eat them if forced. **Peasea** on the other hand, has some issues with peaches…he likes the flavor of them, but apparently the fuzziness feels like tinfoil or something going down his throat and causes him pain. ---

Apples…in any way, shape or form, especially cooked. I can’t stand them, can’t stand the look of them…if they’re touching something on my plate, I refuse to eat it. I don’t know why I have such an objection to apples, but I do. ---

Seafood. (I’m a vegetarian now, but I hated all seafoods even before then.) Tomatoes. (Sun-dried are okay, and I like tomato products, but tomatoes themselves are nasty.) Bananas - UGH! (Banana bread is good, though.) Enchiladas. I don’t know how unusual these are, but I also hate any basil product, like pesto, and sushi, even the vegetarian sort. A lot of people seem to dislike sushi, though. And the one that drives people nuts… …french toast. It’s not incredibly vile, but I don’t get the appeal. Fried bread covered in eggs and syrup. Er, no thanks. ---
