I’ve always liked the smell of frankencense, the ancient component of incense mentioned in the Bible. Is it used in any modern men’s colognes? Can you make it yourself? How about dissolving it in alcohol-would this yield the fragrance?
Is myrhh used as well?
I actually bought some church incense-it’s amazingly cheap-about $5.00 for two pounds of the stuff-nothing rare about frankencense, apparently.

You can buy frankincense essential oil which has already been distilled from the resin
[here](http://www.bestdeal.org/Merchant2/merchant.mv?screen=SRCH&store_code=essential&search=Frankincense). I buy both my frankincense and my myrrh from these guys and I can tell you that when mixed 50/50 they make a dynamite cologne.

you get the oils that farmwoman mentioned, then you get unscented bathproducts, (body wash, lotion, etc) then add the oils to them.

jovan had a cologne called frankencense and myrrh a while back…

A lot of those new-age crystal and wicca-book stores sell scented oils, I have definitely seen Frankencense as a scent.
