Looking for a free program that will allow another person to view and/or take control of my computer and vice versa? ---

[Mikogo](http://www.mikogo.com/) should fit your needs pretty well. It’s free, allows up to 10 participants per meeting, and has desktop/application sharing and remote control. It’s pretty user-friendly for free software, and they have [video tutorials](http://www.mikogo.com/support/video-tutorials/) in case you need help with setup. ---

Fog Creek Copilot is free on weekends and pretty cheap at other times. I’ve never used it or go2meeting so I have no idea how they compare. [https://www.copilot.com/](https://www.copilot.com/) ---

I recently suggested TeamViewer for a similar request, and it was well-received. Do you need a program so that you can see his and he can see yours at the same time? Or is this something where you want to see and control a remote computer? I like Ammyy. I use it all the time to work on my in-laws computers. We can both see and interact with their desktop at the same time. ---

I’ve used [Teamviewer](http://www.teamviewer.com/en/index.aspx) Many times and find it quite useful for this exact thing. I would endorse them.
