I just traded in my first Mazda 3 for another one. The first one proved reliable and fun for the 9 hears I drove it. I wouldn’t hesitate to get a Mazda 6 if a little more room was needed.
Regarding the Honda Insight. We are a Honda family that generally buys new and keep the car until its natural death. We traded in our Insight when it was 7 years old because the seats are so uncomfortable. Also you can barely get adults in the backseat. Do not recommend.
What year? The first generation was a two door two seater. Then it became a hatchback, and most recently a standard sedan.
Oh, good point. 2010 4-door hatchback. Terrible rear sight lines, too.
i loved my 2007 hyundai sonata. no different from a toyota or honda really.
right now i’m driving a 1997 lexus es300. my usual search criteria for the next car are:
lexus
<10years old
<100k miles, prefer in the 70-80k range tho
<$10k
it will be hard to find a used toyota or honda due to the mostly correct conventional wisdom that they are reliable. but i think most people overlook old lexus because they think they’ll be expensive. they’re not. people who can afford a lexus want a new lexus so older ones are pretty reasonable. same with acura.
