Alice Cooper was alcoholic for at least part of his career, but was almost paranoid about harder drugs of any kind. He was afraid of someone spiking his can of beer with drugs so that he had his assistant one a can, he’d take a swig, and then the can would be removed and thrown away. He did this after touring with The Grateful Dead who, according to him, 'wanted everyone to try LSD even if they didn’t want to. ---

Adam Ant, up to and throughout the period he was famous, never did anything (nor drank alcohol). Later he was addicted to anti-depressants though. ---

When they decided to do the documentary _Super Duper Alice Cooper_, they told him then that they’d put his drug usage and he agreed it was time to tell the truth about all the cocaine he took. Anyway, it only takes seeing the concert footage from the late 70s / early 80s, coupled with when Sheryl filed for divorce, to understand that that level of thinness is only a result of being a terrible junky. I know he’s sworn forever that he never touched the hard stuff, but the film came out in 2014 and I thought it was common knowledge now. ---

IIRC, he converted to Mormonism at his then-fiancées-now-wife’s insistence a few years after the Killers made it big, so there’s no telling what he may have been into before then. As for the asexuality thing; he has talked about girlfriends and he has talked about having sex. He likes to jerk-off. I don’t think he’s asexual. I’ve gotten the sense that he is indifferent to sex because it doesn’t happen often for him. He does not seem the sort to suffer fools gladly in the hopes of a blowjob and I suspect he’s not easy to be around. I hold the man in the highest esteem but I think when it comes to sex either he or the woman or both would be near homicidal in the time it took to get from the front door to the bedroom. Zeke ---
