I caught the first episode of “Girl’s Club” on Fox because I dig Gretchen Mol. Now I’m totally sucked in. Never watched one of them David E Kelly joints before. ---

The History Channel has a new show called “Mail Call.” Basically, R. Lee Ermey (the DI from _Full Metal Jacket_) reads letters about the latest military equipment, then demos the equipment. It’s basically a half-hour demonstration of how to blow stuff up real good. I watch it whenever I can. I’m so ashamed. 🙂 ---

Hhhmmm, in college I had a friend with a deep and passionate obsession with Shannen Doherty- He was so excited when Charmed came on he almost drooled, so obviously the roomate and I had to watch so we could later mock…it was all well and good until the insidious cheese-ball dialogue got really entertaining. “The power of 3 will set us free…” led to higher and less sophisticated levels of crap. It was almost a weekly thing with me for awhile…but I’m in a 12-step program now, I should be okay. ---

Well, like any red-blooded heterosexual male, I watch TV in hopes that this show, _this very episode,_ will be the one that breaks that no-female-nudity taboo thingy. I can only hope. Well, you were asking for the stupid reasons. I have good reasons, too, but that’s the stupid one. Kind of doing my part to balance out all the karma of people who watch car races in hopes of seeing a wreck: I’m trolling for boobies. ---

I suppose that really liking hot chicks in leather kicking ass qualifies as a stupid reason. I watch Xena reruns. I especially like some of the villain chicks. No, I don’t know their names. I can’t even remember the sidekick’s name. I usually don’t have the sound up. Years ago I went out on a couple of dates with Leah Remini’s sister. She was gorgeous and cool and not terribly interested in me. Ever since then, if I flip by something and see Leah Remini in it, I’ll end up watching it. Which is unfortunate, because she’s never in anything good. ---

I watch the soap opera channel a lot more than I’d like to admit. I meant to watch a marathon of episodes of shows where characters came back from the dead last Sunday, but alas, I missed it. I started out solely to mock and I never really even know which show I’m watching (except All My Children, which amuses me deeply), but soon I will get sucked in. I can feel it. I’ve also taken to watching Superfriends and Jonny Quest on Boomerang for the same reason. This could be a problem in the future. ---

I think the show **CSI** is incredibly hokey but I can’t help tuning in to watch Hunky Guy. His name is Nick on the show. Hubba Hubba. I can’t believe I just typed “Hubba Hubba.” ---
