I didn’t notice anyone else citing this, so I’ll just leave a pointer to Flanders and Swann, and [their song about patriotic prejudice](http://www.nyanko.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/fas/anotherhat_song.html). The Welsh get their hit about the middle of the song. ETA: Llanfair got a lovely dig in the movie Barbarella, of all places. ---
