But, I believe, that even after 20 posts, the OP’s idea still stands unrefuted: That all assassination attempts, successful or otherwise, were never a result of a personal assault against a particular President, but an attack on the office itself… ---

there are some that point to a jupiter-saturn conjuction in an earth sign that heralds a presidents death. reagan became a near miss as the jupiter-saturn conjuction was in an air sign during his “0” year presidency. nancy doesn’t sound so crazy now, eh? ---

Statistically all assassinated American presidents have been male Caucasian. Either you can’t go by statistics on this or Obama has a 0% chance of being assassinated. The same goes for Hilary Clinton. McCain on the other hand needs to worry. ---

I think all presidents are subject to assasignations, you just don’t hear about all the attempts that fail and aren’t public. In otherwords if the Secret Service foils someone and stops him from getting on a plane, you won’t hear about it. Was Ford really a target or or was Squeeky just looking for the most publicity and he was convenient to give her that publicity. Oh sure she aimed and would’ve killed him, but if some other famous person was around would Squeeky chose him instead? If Jodie was “nicer” to Hinkley would Reagan have been shot? There’s too many variables that are unknown to be accurate ---
