**Inigo Montoya**. He just seems really sweet and funny in an attractive way, too bad he’s far too young for me and too far away. 😃 **Fairychatmom** , she’s very funny and down to earth, and has a lot of great wisdom. Some of the harsher posters. I’d just die of curiosity to see if they’re that “mean” in real life. ---

I would definitely like to have a beer with **Chronos** sometime. I like the way he thinks. And we only live a couple of hours apart. **Exapno Mapcase** and I don’t always agree, but we seem to have a lot in common and I’d like to get to know him better. **Anaamika** fascinates me. Especially since she has knowledge of things that interest me that I don’t know much about. I haven’t run into **Blake** in many social-type threads, but I’ve enjoyed arguing both with him and against him, so he’s definitely on my list. Then there’s **tomndebb** , **Colibri** , **Qadgop the Mercotan** , and **Q.E.D.** , just to name the ones who come directly to mind. ---

My God, what have I created? _From my heart, and from my hand, why don’t people understand My intention? Is it real? It’s my creation!_😃 You know, I could compose a massive list of every poster here that I’d like to share a drink with sometime, but it would probably be easier to say “Everyone!” than name specific people and end up leaving people out by accident. Of course, perhaps those of us here who are shooters could organise the 1st Annual SDMB International Postal Rifle Shoot? I’d say the 1st Annual SDMB International Drinking Contest, but with the cost of airfares, accommodation, and bail ;), I just can’t see it being a viable venture anytime soon… 😃 ---

You remember… the one where their cat said “Now, Mama!” and some Frenchman on a rooftop threw roses at her feet? Who WAS that? I’ve searched and searched. Whoever that was, she’s on the list, too. ---

I rarely actually get out and shoot these days, but I’m taking the kids camping next weekend to a place where I can plink away to my heart’s content. I was going to bring the BB gun, pellet gun, and .22 for them anyway, I might as well bring my target gun too. Of course, I’ll lose to those of you who actually practice, but every competition needs someone who’ll be last, doesn’t it? Give me a quick note of the distance this week and I’ll join you and we can organize at our leisure. (I haven’t done that sort of thing since college, so I’m quite rusty on the mechanics of it.) ---

hmm… not sure I would want to meet any dopers actually. I would hate for the carefully structured mental image I have of certain posters would be shattered. If I dont meet anyone, than everyone is what I think they are. Kinda like when you hear your favorite book on tape and the guy reading it says the name different than you hear it in your head when your reading. On re-reading that sentence, it’s probably nothing like that actually. ---
